Having spent the last three years rebuilding the bodywork on my replica I have just had the interior retrimmed by O'Rouke Coachtrimmer's here in the UK. They have posted a video of the process and I thought it might be of interest.

Love all the aluminum fabrication for base panels, in the states it’s all cardboard and fiberglass

Stunning. He/they do amazing work and u are now as original as an original swb from DK that has been sent for a retrain :). Did you do the entire car or Is the car from GTO engineering? 250GTE donor?

Car was built many years ago from a donor 330 GT and was very poorly put together. We stripped the complete car and fabricated new doors, inner wings and reworked the front wings. Removed the roof and formed the correct inner structure. We also fabricated the dashboard which was quite a challenge.

I had a lot of help from GTO engineering who supplied many parts and gave me unfettered access to their own cars and also original cars they were working on.

The car was then painted in the same color as the original donor.

Wow, yours is beautiful! Really sad about Mark. I have one in production as we speak. Chassis is done and I should have the car later this year. Was going to start a thread to detail the journey. My donor is a ratted out 250 gte and I asked rhem to use and refurb as many parts as possible and ones that don’t apply to please reuse on a gte that needs help. I am finalizing color and spec now and think I will stick with the color the original gte was painted in (before a resale red redo). I don’t recall off the top of my head which silver but I love it.
