    Hi all,

    happy easter to you.
I dismounted one 250 Gte distributor today to check for wear and found two different length of springs in the weights. See picture. Is this normal?

    Thanks
    Christopher

Just to add to my post above: This diagram comes from the Service and Maintenance handbook but it irritates us as it does not corresbond with the manual data (see below)?

    Thanks

It says Motor rpm, nothing more. It comes from a manual for the 250 Gte called Uso e Manutenzione. It is in the chapter Distributor.

What I am looking for is the right data for advance curve for the S85A of the Gte for setting/ checking advance on a distributor tester. Thanks a lot.

Thanks, have needed info thanks to GTO. They informed me that the curve is identical to the 330Gt and provided attached table.

    Thanks

    great service from GTO :)

but I wonder a little: the centrifugal advance normaly start at about 1200 - 1400 rpm, and here it says from 600 rpm?
also this is only the advance, not the static timing

The chart from GTO is for DISTRIBUTOR rpm.

Yes. Distributor timing as I needed it. And as always very good service from GTO’s. Friendly, helpful and competent.
