Of the 3 series, which one do you all prefer? I have a Series I and and Series III. I also have the 330 GT2+2 which looks a bit bloated compared to the 250 GTE when placed side by side. I like the wider tires on the Series III but I think I prefer the inside fog lights look of the earlier Series I & II cars. I think they tried to make the Series III cars look more like the Lusso. I'm sure this has been debated on Fchat in other threads. If someone can point me to them, I'd appreciate it.

Great shots John! I will use them in the Register if that is good with you. Do you have info on where and when they were taken? That would be helpful.

Wyane - LAS 125 is GTE 2913 GT. Looks like a little typo there. Unfortunately, I do not have the plate 756 YUX in my database. Will have to dig deeper into that one.

FarEastFerrari - I think you are opening up Pandora's box with that question! The style variations are a matter of taste and like children, ours always look the best to us. That being said, I think White on Red Series IIIs are the best looking :)

Thanks Peter, that would be 4151 GT. And if you look behind it in the first photo you will see not only 4897 GT, but also Tom Yang and myself talking about it! Ok, you gotta look really closely, but it is us...

Well Done - That is the car that was being redone in Prague over the last year or two. I have spoken to the new owners, but did not know the plates.

    Sorry about the name Wayne...

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season. I am looking forward to the new year!

Thanks Paul, you've seen quite a few GTEs so that's saying a lot...wish I could take credit but it was the previous owners decision. As mentioned its obviously not original but it really does seem to suit the car.

I wish I could afford to buy one of these booklets on the collectables market, or that somebody with one would post the names and paint codes of each swatch.
There appear to be 19 colours that were available.

Yes indeed! Mr. Bernstein is certainly not afraid of driving his GTE!

4247 GT is getting ready to hit the streets for the first time since the late 1980's. It will have it's coming out party at the 2015 Gathering of GTEs at Concorso Italiano on the August 15th. All GTEs (and their owners, fans, etc) are invited to join us. I would be fun to talk to you face to face!

Congrats Tom. It has been a long time in the making, so it will be great to see your car back on the road.

Does anyone own a 250 GTE that was delivered new via Rezzaghi? I have a set of original keys on Rezzaghi key ring I am willing to trade for 250 parts. Any interested party needs to provide reasonable proof of ownership for the car. I obtained the set from a friend whose uncle owned the car in the '60s. I do not know the chassis number.

Larry - the Ferrari records show 9 GTEs being delivered to Rezzaghi and 1 to Chinetti, which was forwarded to that dealership. There may be more that went through Chinetti. I know of 3 of those cars that are still on the road and will contact the owners (though at least one has probably already read this). What parts are you looking for?

If you get me the name of your friends Uncle, I may be able to identify the car.

As long as we are on the subject of Dealerships, does anybody have a Hollywood Sport Cars keychain or License Plate Frame that they would be willing to part with?
