I don't have that edition so it could not have been in Supercar Classics, unless there's an extract on line somewhere. I will have to look out for whichever Supercar Classics edition 3527 was featured in though.
I've just tried an online search to no avail. One issue had a terrific visit with Neil Corner... I thought the issue with Don Nelson featured 0197 EL on the cover but my search seems to have negated that possibility. Perhaps the main feature of the article is 0197 EL- but there was a picture of 3527 GT along with others. I can't swear that's what you're looking for but your mention of his comments did ring that particular bell for me.
