looking for a set of hood hinges in nice orig shape for my 58 ellena. mine on the ellena got all bent up when the hood at one time flipped completely over and bent the hood and hinges. based on the front end and hood design, i assume a lot of the early 250 hinges are the same. if anyone know differently, pls let me know - otherwise, i need a pair pls asap.
as an update to this - the hinges are the curved type not the late 250/330 type hinge if this help. Ill get mine off and get some pics to post.
Wouldn't these be originally "scratch-built" from a rough pattern and fitted for each individual body ? If so, you could also make them yourself from scratch.
yes you are correct - but if i can find a much better set, id rather tweak them then bend the ones i have back in shape - at least for now. Might have to go that route...lets see if anyone has anything available.
