I saw this Wild Turkey run 400 yards across my lower meadow,,, with a "broken," wing,,, with a bachelor coyote in hot pursuit.

Later that evening, I see this in my extra parking lot.
( not one junk car yet.)

Than I prefer the deer that run in the woods behind my garden. Please no bulls in my pool.
Oh, forgot, got no pool. :(

Got to call my friends to enquire after my free pool... ;)

By the way: why aren't you in the pool? 100 degrees?

    Bart man,
I had just topped it off, went in to grab my towel then Whole Lota drank about 5 gallons and drooled in it. Good thing water is cheep from my well.
    Ha ha

Yes, I chlorinate the pool. No chance of Guardia from the deer.
I might move it into the dog run,, but, the deer could still get to it,,, also, I like it under that oak tree. What about a cover...??

    Whew!

Well, all my Work is Done,,,, for now.
Back on the Hobby,,, the Ferrari.
    Remember, I'm having fun....?..

    Ha ha

New valve springs,,, ? Weaker and shorter....
Tested my Old 1981 springs,, perfect,, so, I had them steel shot blasted, for reinstallation.

See me measuring Valve spring closed height.

I went with Factrory sized Exhaust valves,, New. But, I didn't like my factory Ferrari Intake valves. So, ha ha, another," While you are in there deep." I sprang for New Ferraea Racing Valves, 42.37 mm head diameter. Remember, to get your Military Discount vets. Thus, the heads are back in the shop for some New Inlet Valves and some very mild inlet porting.

You have cayotes where you live? My neighbors are paranoid about their chihuahua's and the local canids. I am paranoid about stupid turkeys splatting on my windshield. Happened to my neighor's large camper van at 55mph. SPLATTTTT Ended that trip right away.

Found this Downey Woodpecker Female in my driveway.
She is flame orange on the bottom,, dayglo really.
I don't know what killed her,, traffic moves at 25 MPH,, looks like a broken neck.
All her parts are there and Seem fine....? Maybe some Magpies killed her, they are very territorial.
I called the local College Biology Dept., but they are on spring brake..... She is in my fridge ,,, for now.
If they don't call, I'll feed her to my Red Tailed Hawks.
After, I get some tail feathers for some dream catchers.

A woodpecker in your private drive must be Lucky, or from God.

I found my 308 motor oil sump screen and locking ring.
And, found some cash......,! CaChing....! $$$$$....!!!

    Whew,,,,!

More progress to follow next week.

Yikes! Wouldn't want to see the end result of that one.

Here in Suburban Plano we have all kinds of wildlife - including coyotes. however, they are mostly nocturnal. I see them roaming the allys (we have alleys with garages on the back of the houses) at night.

The squirrels are actually more aggressive than the coyotes. I've seen them multiple times, sitting on top of the fence, taunting and screaming at my dogs. Drives the dogs crazy.

The hog invasion is also getting closer. Just 5 miles up the road, a buddy with a house under construction had a herd (is that what you call a bunch of hogs?) come through and trash the neighborhood.

This looks like an A-Team approved construction. But wait untill Colonel Deckers passes by...

Err, the cost of a decent hoist doesn't weigh up on the mayham this setup may cause... No?
It looks like you could lose some fingers when it snaps or collapses.

    Hopefully all went well!
