Amenesce, I never owned a 250GTO, that would be one I could have wished for. Or almost any P-car.

    My fave: I dunno. Candidates, in no particular order: 9057, 275GTB/C; 2689, 250GT 61 Comp; 002 206S; 0434MD, 500 Mondial; 0515, 250GT Zagato (or it's sister 0537); 0170ET, 225 Vignale berlinetta; 6437, 275GTB special; 0425, 250GT special.

Great cars all. I see 250 GT LWB California Spyder 1307GT and 250 LM 5909 didn't make the list.

Pretty amazing list of cars. 2689 and 0425 would be my pick from the list.
How many have you owned at the same time?

How many times did you have 0515? I heard that one had a way of returning to your garage.

Sometimes it is and sometimes it's pretty obvious. At least it is for me. When I see rust in the interior I think it's time to move on. But hey, if people disagree, so be it, that's what makes the world go round.

Besides, it's not like #5893 is virgin ground. It's been smashed up at least once in it's life.

2689 would have to be near the top; it was such a hoot to drive. It was so over-carbureted (size 46) that you could kill the engine by opening the throttle at low rpm. But once you reached around 4000 it cleared it's throat and said, "excuse me ma'am, but I'm leaving now." And yes, I had 0515 5 1/2 times (partner on the last go-round). I didn't include any California as they are not really comfortable to sit in. Perhaps 0425 and 5909 should have been included, along with 1777, the Nembo.

This link has some good stuff in it, at the start its about 0858 Can Am P4.
If you scroll down you will find the Lm -6321 when it ran out here in Australia in the endurance races driven by Spencer Martin and Bill Brown to name 2.
The LM had originally Black seats in it when he drove it not he common blue inset type.
I like the shot of 6321 in the traffic going over the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I knew I had these but I needed to hunt them down, the more I thought about them and where they were the more it bugged me.
So, 1983, The Australian Ferrari Register as it was known then, had the National Rally held in the host state of Queensland.
The highlight of the Rally was that 6321 250LM was going to make an appearance.
The track was the Sufers Paradise raceway (now sadly gone) and I'm going to say driven by Bill Brown, but don't quote me on that. I'm saying Bill because he was sitting next to me at lunch. But I cant remember for sure who drove the car. Driven on the same track that the 12hr was held at.
Even then it pulled a crowd. It was wet track and the car was not going out but the racing weather gods changed their minds and it stop raining and dried enough for it to once more do a few laps around the Surfers track.
    Enjoy

Interesting how the rear mesh is different on different cars. At least it is for #5893. It's a bigger pattern mesh.

    Thanks for the link.

One small correction is photo - "‘0858’ in cigarette company ‘Team Gunston’ colours in Bulawayo, South Africa 1969. Note the car now has lights re-fitted, installed in Australia for the Surfers 6 Hour."

Bulawayo in the then Rhodesia (Now Zimbabwe).
