3099 GT is SWB Cal Spider owned by Chuck Betz and #415 is Boano #0533 GT owned by Peter Fino. Marcel Massini
David, The last two are PF Coupes. The one before it is 250 GT PF Cabriolet Special s/N 1737 GT (it has its removable hard top on). I think it belongs to a gentleman by the name of Osacar Davis. Art S.
Yes, I believe it is supposedly the Swedish racing colors or something to that effect. If you really want to see something scary take a look at the interior treatment.
This picture does not come through clearly. The seats are blue and yellow to match the gastly exterior.
There was 0943GT (s/n off the top of my head) owned by Todd Hensley stuffed in the back corner on the lawn at Cavallino. It was a Platinum awarded car, Now that's rare!! I have owned this car twice. Great car to start with, one of those Southern California rust free non accident damaged examples. Alledged first 128D engine, 6th PF coupe made. Fiberglass decklid, single distributor, headrest and I think a different glove box (longer).
I am handicapped, nearly totally color blind. The car was in the south west corner on the upper field, next to Zambrano's LWB CAlf Spyder dark blue and Sam Mann's TDF that David Carte finished off, Best of Show, GT car. Grey? Grigio? something like that.
Yes, I did get photos of that car. Thanks, I'll add the serial number to the photos. I posted a photo of that car on the previous page
Here is a pic of both Todd and my cars at the Marriott. Mine is in front and is a bit darker, the color is grigio fuemo (smoke grey). His is lighter and is also a grigio something-or-other, can't remember. My serial number is #1977. Image Unavailable, Please Login
There were three 250 GT PF Coupés at Saturday's Concours: 0943 GT of Todd Hensley, Springfield/MO, dark grey 1977 GT of Greg Brendel, Dallas/TX, dark grey 1427 GT of Ruggero Santilli, Palm Harbor/FL, yellow and blue Marcel Massini
Hi Tom, You mean to tell me that Chuck's car went from orignal and tired to platinum? That is record time and bravo to the new caretaker. Gunmetal gray is a perfect color for these cars, but 0943GT used to be in a nice shade of red lacquer (for those who don't know). john Image Unavailable, Please Login
