Am I alone in thinking the rear is rather ugly ?

Here's a (poor) pic of my other Zagato, 0537GT, which had a rounded rear. Perhaps you prefer this? I always liked the raised portion of the trunk and the hood, which balanced the "dent" in the top. Rear aside, I prefer 0515's rear fender arch to 0537's, which makes the fender look too large, in my opinion.

Rats! My computer, for some reason, won't download some of my pix. Maybe someone else has one of the rear of 0537?

I found this picture on the internet that illustrates your points well. I can see what the stylist was trying to achieve with adding the raised portion on the trunk (boot to me) but I prefer the simplicity and softness on the other car and the rounded boot echos the nose. That being said, there are still both beautiful cars

    Some questions,

Mr Niles do you have some picture of # 0515 when you repainted in red?

Did someone have some picture from inside? it must be really nice and very spécial.

Why this car is included in the range TDF?

Christian, I don't think TdF was ever a factory designation; they were just called 250GT Berlinettas. The Zagatos (at least the ones that I had, 0515 and 0537) were just that, with somewhat different bodies. So I think most people would consider those cars to be"TdF's". True dual-purpose cars: drive 'em to the races, race, and then (with luck!) drive 'em home.

That photo of the two Zagatos does not show 0537; still hoping that someone has a pic of the rear of 0537.

Sorry, Kim, but I'm not a serial no. memorizer. 0689GT comes to mind, but someone here will no doubt have it. As I recall, there were 5 Zagato 250's, each different from the others.

The back window of 0515GT must be the most elaborate glass ever made for a car.

Thank you Mr Niles for these precisions, it help me to understand. It was a good thing
to use the car daily and use it the week end for race...

I like the both cars, but i a small preference for #0515 2 tones and also the line in profile view.
