1965 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Reconstruction Alloy for sale: Anamera
who known this car ?
This is a perfect example to demonstrate why I refuse to use words like replica, re-creation, reconstruction, etc. ad infinitum. They are just fakes to me.
anybody knows how a Testarossa looks. why build such a wrong body?
I think deviations from standard designs actually adds some fun into these cars instead of taking something away. In the end of the day every fake is a mongrel, so it is also very hard to understand why even try to make an exact copy of a real car. The attempt will fail anyway 98 times out of a hundred so it is total waste of time... unless it serves the purpose to be close enough to fool a naiive buyer, then cry all the way to the bank.
Its now on ebay...

Saw this car as "featured ad" in Hemming's email. Surprised they would choose to feature it given the sketchy description in the Hemming's ad:

For sale in Belgium! Seems like a lot of these "diffrent" cars are for sale in Belgium. Why is that?
Gotta love the ad:
Hey it's a replica-- you never know!
This car is now in Sweden and will take part in the Gumball 3000. It will go all the way to Vegas, so you can enjoy it in the US!
Here is a few pictures of it from Stockholm today
It is built on 250GTE #4617 and has a 365GT4 2+2 engine
How could you screw up the shape of the headlight area / fender so badly?
Any 1 thanks but no thanks, prefer to see this thing stay out of the US!
Maybe somebody can save the engine and other original components and scrap the rest of that monster.
It does not necessarily contain many parts to save; clearly built using a random chassis and pile of random parts.
A similar car, almost identic, was spotted at Classic Remise in Düsseldorf november 2019. Se link below..
Possibly the same car, anyone able to confirm??
