Quick first impression: The chromed "road car" Borranis look horrible and don't even fill up the wheel wells. Looks like the owner needs to invest in a nice set of proper painted racing wheels (outside laced on the fronts would be nice!) and tires.

Quick verdict: Most likely a GTE.

Not a bad car for club track days, just don't expect it at Cavallino.

I suppose the nose is a bit too blunt. I can´t see the Scaglietti-elegance.

    Your kidding right... ?

Its a total replica. Nothing right about the car from any angle. Not even in the dark as just a silohuette.

Sure it combines several elements of the 196S / TR59-60 Sports Racers but nothing that was ever seen on one specific car.

Kinda of like a moped...you know fun to drive till yer friends catch you...

    Cheers,

    Bill

I've been trying to locate information on this "Ferrari" ever since I saw it at the WP Concours. I thought it was a replica at first glance because a lot of details were wrong. Thanks for confirming my doubts. By the way, one of the judges said it was the real deal. I pointed out to him that the serial number was 6 digits which confused him. Another judge said it was a replica and someone near the car said it was a real factory TR, lots of confusion!Anyway, after doing a little research and comparing the car to a real TR59, I came to the conclusion that it was a replica. I've been photographing Ferraris for a few years, go here to see a few examples. http://home.iag.net/~davidg/Ferrari.htm
