Based on looks alone, Out of the top 250's, Which one is your favorite: 250 GTO 250 Calfornia Spyder 250 TR 250LM 250SWB 250TDF Mine, I think (for this minute anyway) would have to be the California Spyder or the TDF Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Had to go with the Cali Spyder. Such a beautiful classic style - open top V12. Cannot go wrong with that. Although just about any of those cars is automotive perfection. PDG
Great thread! In my opinion the 250 TR is the best. My basis on this is spending countless hours around/in 0710TR. The TR is awesome and from every angle is great looking to me. I know people are going to tell me I am nuts for picking it over a 250GTO, but I am partial to the fact the TR is an open car, and seeing the exhaust run down the sides of the car is pretty damn cool!! Erik
I'd pick the Cali if the Nembo convertible wasn't even nicer. So I'll go with the GTO. Not that I'd kick any of them out of my garage for dripping oil.
Buehler? Buehler? All of the 250s were nice cars: the TR60, the Lusso, ... But the Cali is the prototypical Hwood Blvd cruiser.
They are all rolling art but the SWB has been my favorite car since I read an article about one a guy had restored in I believe Car and Driver circa 1978. I believe the article said the car was worth about 30K at the time. To me it is the classic Ferrari that could be driven to the race, win the race, and drive home.
Love 'em all! This is a difficult one; TRs are just so unique and GTO is an icon from my youth that was just too beautiful to believe. But having seen them for decades so often (pics, etc), I think the TRs are becoming more unique and appealing. LM not as pretty, California Spyder is gorgeous, and SWB is just a bit stubby and not as graceful. But I voted for TR both for classic and competition appeal.
Wow, choices, choices. These models truly represent the, or at least a, golden period for Ferrari. TdF for its grace and style. LM for its muscular and brutal shapes. Oh to have just one of these in the garage. -F
I'm leaning towards the 250LM. Put me behind the wheel of that rawness and I think it'd be a lot of fun.
SWB, although if I had to drive one of the others I could deal with it. Spyder (SWB) would be right behind, though not in red.
Damn, damn, damn. I think I'll go with the TR. It's so unique. You just don't see cars today that look like that. Honorable mention to the 410 SA, which didn't make the list.
They are all beautiful Ferraris!! But I voted for the California Spyder!!! Like most others, I would LOVE to have one in the garage.
I voted for the Cali, but I really like the Lusso based on looks alone, why wasn't it included, it's surely admired by many, not?
Short wheel base open headlight California for me. Specifically the ex-Princess Nina Khan, # 4095 GT. Paul
