I would have selected Lusso but voted for SWB of those offered. To me the car has perfect proportions.

I struggle.. the LM, from certain angles...easy. But from a couple, meh.

    The LM Stradale, however....perfection.

    Very difficult to choose...
But for me, the 250 GT California Spyder Passo Corto, carened light, particulary 2561GT, wich is for me one of the most beautiful car ever!
GTOs, Berlinetta Passo Corto, Lusso, TdF, MM ,P, LM, P5 ( :p ), TR... are also beautiful, almost perfection!

Or between McCartney, Lennon, Harrison as best songwriter :p
Very very difficult, but for me 2561GT is a little above others.
This cars are very different, that's the difficulty!

I voted for the California Spyder. I'd put the Lusso a close second.

Unfortunately, there were 4 different kinds of Cal Spyders, some of which aren't as pretty (to my eyes) as the other choices.

If it's a SWB covered headlight model, it's a WIN. A LWB or SWB open headlight would take a backseat to the TR, GTO and LM, IMO.

Europa, Boano, Elena, TdF, PF Coupé, Cab SI, Cab SII, MM, 2+2 are missing! And of course the Californias come in four versions.

Personally, Number 1 would be a covered headlights California LWB.

What a great thread! All of them are incredible, but I still would go for the GTO.

Four? I devide LWB production into 5 different variations alone and then we have open/closed headlights on top of that. For me the SWB is like a 5 ft. blonde - a compromise in looks in favor of driving characteristics. Best wishes, Kare

    For me:
    1st - 250 SWB, the perfect Granturismo
2nd - 250 GTO, wonderful, but too extreme
3rd - 250 TdF, for the vintage style
    4th - 250 LM, in the middle...
    5th - 250 California Spyder, I prefer covered cars
    6th - 250 TR, I really don't like it...

While it was a tough choice, I picked the SWB. I've been aching after one for a long time, and should hard work pay off for me one day, it'll be my 250 of choice (although I'd gladly park any of them in my garage).

    Difficult choice.
I have had the privilige to race the GTO (2 different cars), SWB (6 different cars) and 250LM.
The most impressive to race is certainly the 250 LM but the most beautifull is still the SWB.
The silver car is 2069GT and the dark red SWB is 2445GT (Goodwood 2010)

Is not the badge on the fender from the Mas du Clos?
Has PB sold this car "recently" to a new owner in switzerland?
It is the best of the three '64s, IMHO...history wise-no?
