Who: F-Chat Members What: Sunday Morning Drive When: Sunday Aug 9th, meet between 8:45 and 9am Where: Rudy's BBQ in Frisco off the DNT ( Northbound ) Etc: A F-Chat member asked if I would put together a small group, medium length drive, this coming Sunday. Who am I to say no? ( I drove a route today starting in Waxahachie ending in Stephensville at Hard 8's BBQ , just to see what I could find for future drives,... ) I am thinking we will meet in the parking lot of Rudy's BBQ in Frisco, they have fuel, and easy entry back to the Tollway. I am thinking we meet between 8:45 - 9am, chose the route, and doors close no later than 9:15am. The route will be determined by those who show up, ending at lunch ( TBD ), and getting everyone back to the DFW area before 1pm Please arrive on time as well as: 1. Full tank of fuel for start of drive 2. FRS radio ( channel 7 - 0 ) 3. Co-Pilot's are always good, but no required Please feel free to PM me if you are interested in attending, this drive will be limited to 8 -10 cars and like minded drivers only. Steve

Steve, maybe worth it to shout out to Don for FCA members, Don often gives notice about other events even if not FCA.
actually, I just looked at latest FCA newsletter and Don had a drive planned for this Saturday. I haven't seen any emails on it so I don't think the drive is happening, he had to send events into the newsletter long ago. I'm out of town all weekend BTW.
I don't think the FCA drive is happening, I think yours would be great especially if Don can tie in FCA invites.

Thank you for a fun and scenic run. Great variety of roads, great group of cars, and lots of driving! "Watch out for the Turtle" is now the Great Turtle Drive - story later! Babe's, as always, the best fried chicken. Rodney and I are looking forward to next month's drive - umm, you ARE planning another drive, right? Thank you for a fun morning with our cars.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the drive Sunday. We had a great mix of cars and ppl, as well as alot of SO's this time around. We made the loop a little quicker than I expected and would have been at lunch too early, which is why I chose to continue on to 377. Lesson confirmed, alway's pre-drive the entire route or route options the night before.... I wish someone had gotten a picture of that section of roadway. ( LOL ) So, um yeah, September drive, here we come! Steve
