I just ordered new tires for the stock rims of my newly acquired 97 355 spider. I just ordered new Kumho tires from the tire rack that are 295 35 18 in rear and 235 40 18 front. I also ordered 25mm spacers for the rear and 15mm for the front. Will the 25mm spacers fit the rear without rubbing the fenders? Or what is the max I can put on the rear with these big tires?
    thanks

Gordon just did 10mm front and rear spacers on my 98 355b. Check the thread on my new Brembo brake kit. This will show you that 10mm is pretty agressive I think 25 mm will look out of wack to pushed out.

those pictures look awesome! Love those wheels on your yellow 355...
I am just trying to figure out if the 25mm spacers I ordere will work with my car or will I have to have the rear fender rolled?
Also I do not want it to end up looking like one of those "ricers" or "beaner wagons" with their 13" rims sticking out 20" on both sides of the car!

I am doing the stock wheels that came on the 355. Damn, I may have to change my order :(
What wheels are you using? size?
Have you heard about the stebro straight pipes? They are supposed to work fine acccording to my mechanic. THis is what he always uses. $350.

The wheels are ARTEC German company that makes them for IMOLA RACING.I had a STEBRO exhaust on my 348 good product. The price of $350 give it a try thats cheap. The Capristos are big bucks for sure. But remember when you sell the car you could find a buyer fast for those Capristo parts for maybe half of what you have in it.The sound with pipes on the 355 I think blows away all the comp 360,430,you name it!!!!

Also dropping the cats cooled of the engine compartment big time!!!Think of electronic crap all over that engine getting destroyed by heat!!!!The car revs free and better by far without those two 900degree orbs hanging out the back!!!!

25mm is too big for the rear. I have a very good friend with 15mm spacers on the rear of his 355 and the tires are completely flush with the fenders. 25mm spacers will make the tires stick out beyond the fender. Will not compliment the appearnace IMO.
