Haven't you guys beat this dead horse into oblivion? I think the Buick is handsome but the name makes me think of milk ...and it also closely resembles a Passat from the rear.
IMO that looks nothing like a QP. Then again I'm the type of person who doesn't really see resemblance in most cars.
Are you serious? QP buyer's want something unique, a finely crafted high-performance luxury sedan...a Buick can't quite measure up to a Maserati.
The day after I created this thread, I had the chance to see and sit in a QP, in real life. I was wrong about the similarity.
The proportions are basically the same but there is no way that Buick interior can compare with the QP's.. it probably looks closer to something made by Tupperware (and assembled by blind chimps).
I'm not the biggest proponent of American cars, but I sat in the new series of Buicks at the car show, and I'll say that they appear to be reaching the level of fit and finish of Lexus 6 years ago. So, there appears to be progress.
