lighting is very important and will change the colors appearance. i believe this color should appear as silver blue, not light blue, correct? wait to see it in sunlight.

I think lighting matters a lot with this color, particularly due to the reflective aspect of it. It will look much lighter out in the sun than indoors, or on overcast days. For what it's worth I think it looks great either way.

I still think its light blue. Silver blue would be the 4cam that just listed on DK Engineering website (they are a well known Ferrari dealer in the United Kingdom). The 4cam on the website is simply stunning! I will look at it in the sun (to be honest I have not seen the car yet since it has been repainted) and let you know....

No I didn't. It looks very nice I have to admit. Thank you Mario- much appreciated. I just checked out the other cars- there are some nice cars. I also like the color of the GTS 275 (I am not a big fan of the car itself though). Also the Daytona color is stunning!

This has been an awesome thread. Thanks so much for posting the progress photos.
The blue brings out the forms of the 275 perfectly.
Congratulations. Anxious to see the "finished product"

What a fantastic thread I have spent a good hour reading it with some coffee.

You were right to change the colour I think also.

The process the paintshop used on the bare metal is called Etch primer. This eats into the metal slightly, bonding to the bare metal providing a rust prohibiter but also a base for the build primer to adhere to.

    Keep the pictures coming.

    Many thanks,

    Matt

    Magnificent.

Again I wonder how many people who see the result will have any conception of the time, effort and expertise that went into it.
