275 GTB fuel filler overflow hose

I'm currently working on a RHD 275 GTB/4 and need to route the hose from the fuel filler bowl overflow pipe. I didn't strip the car and there are no holes in the floor where the original hose would have gone, perhaps they've been welded up.

I'd be very grateful if anyone with a 275 GTB or GTB4 can have a look to confirm the routing of the overflow hose.

Underneath the filler bowl the pipe splits into 2, one end joins to the tank breathers but it's the other end I need to route.

Looking at pictures I've seen one car with what looks like an outlet just in front of the reversing light in the boot floor. This could be the answer but I'd love someone to confirm before I start drilling holes.
