Sorry Steve, my bad...I didn't read it clearly....Sorry for the confusion...I'm going to try and obtain more information regarding this car. All I've been told is that it is a left hand drive car, yellow with black interior that was purchased from Chinetti new and the car was 1 of 3 with a 330 motor in it from factory. Sorry I don't have more at this point, but I will keep you posted.

Thanks for posting the pictures. Do you know the chassis number of the 275 GTS in the DK Enginering advert which I have seen previously? I noted that there was no pic of the 6 carb set up and the wording is that it benefited (past tense) from a 6 carb set up which makes me wonder if it still has 6 carbs.
08653 the last 275 GTS was delivered to Steve McQueen. He specified black with black interior, no radio or aerial, and requested a 6 carb set-up. The factory told him that they could not fulfill the 6 carb request. Interestingly the car was repossessed for non-payment. In the 1990s it was burned to a crisp in a major garage fire.
The 6 carb set up was not a rare factory option on a 275 GTS then and would explain why 07997 had to go back to 3 carbs to get Classiche Certified.
08653 has a bit of a story. McQueen had the car repainted burgundy by Junior's House of Colors. Fire was in 1994. Remnants went to salvage yard of R. S. Then sold to F. P. in NY state. Then sold to Tom Meade who stored the remains of 08653 with 3 other Ferraris at an apartment complex in Westwood/CA. That building was property of an LLC, who then sold the complex to A. C., R. W. and B. Properties and J. They took possession of the building and the four Ferraris "somehow disappeared". Meade filed a police report for grand theft of the four Ferraris. Tom Meade's attorney (and occasional fchatter) T.T.B. of Beverly Hills, CA, started a law suit against the LLC and A. C., R. W., B. Properties and J., seeking damages of a total of US$ 5'000'000 for the loss of Tom Meade's four Ferraris including 275 GTS Spider chassis #08653. In 2019 I was contacted by the factory because somehow 08653 "had re-appeared". They then completely rebuilt/recreated/restored it and painted it red. It was Classiche certified for the Italian owner in 2021. See also article in TOFM The Official Ferrari Magazine issue #50 of March 2021. In July 2021 it was shown at Cavallino in Modena and during 2022 it was on display in the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena. Marcel Massini
I do I don't know when 7795 became 6 carb. Maybe a dealer upgrade on a normal 3 carb car, I don't have any photos.
Thanks. RHD 275 GTS 07845 was originally supplied/sold by Chinetti in the US but no evidence (yet) that it had 6 carbs. Was offered by The Checkered Flag Collection in December 1987 and advertised in Cavallino number 42 on page 60. I wonder if it was advertised with 6 carbs then?
Here is the Steve Mc Queen's 275 story in the Official Ferrari Magazine Marcel Massini refers to: https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/magazine/articles/true-to-the-last-bolt Knowing the full story as related in the above post, the "true to the last bolt" are not the first words I would come up with for a car that has caught fire, disappeared and re-appeared in "as new" condition. What is the proportion of original period parts in that car?
