Wow ! This car is exquisite. I love the interior quilting on seats , parcel shelf and boot. Would this have been original?
Beautiful car, a lot meticulous care and $$ went into that restoration. Love the little owner mod on the accell pedal, very clever.
Very impressive, it seems highest quality restoration. Probably better than ever. Therefore overrestored? It doesn't matter when the owner likes it that way. BTW little correction: as these street Ferraris are odd numbered the serial number is, as can be seen, 7609.
It seems to me this is more of a modifaction of the car to it´s owners wishes. Nothing wrong with that imho and tastefully done as well. thanks for the pics!
Looks great to me. Ofcourse all the underside detailing/finish will be lost on most onlookers when it stands on its four wheels but at least he didn't chrome the wheels or something. I like the colours too! But did this car really have red brake callipers in the sixties?!
Definately a beautiful car - perhaps too beautiful! Thankfully, over-restoration is easily corrected by driving the car hard for a week or so. I should point out that I am an expert in providing such remedies - give me the car for a week, and I'll return it to you in proper 1- condition.
wow! it looks like a burrago model in 1:1 amazing. the restoration must have cost more than the car before restoration....
I agree. The interior may look nice; but it is way, way off in terms of originality. No 275 that I am aware of left the factory with quilted upholstery, dash is wrong finish and colour, steering wheel is incorrect, headliner is incorrect material etc etc. His car and his money though. Externally, the car doesn't look right without bumpers. Finish in the boot is incorrect as well. Riveted fuel tank is lovely and I have seen a standard 2 cam shortnose with this tank before. This car had the "normal" carpet treatment in the boot, despite the tank. Nothing wrong with this car unless you want to do the concour circuit. We had a 275 GTB/4 until the mid 1990's. Great car, wish we still had it.
Great color! I might have gone with something a little different for the interior, although it's not bad.
Looks ready for a good flogging up 84 on the way to La Honda, opening up onto PCH for a good wind-out. --Dan
