    Hi everyone,

Need some clarity here… When did Hotwheels produce a 1:18 scale die cast 275P Ferrari or did someone made one up? I found this one on ebay about six months ago but I’ve never seen one since. Is this a “rare” car? And does anyone have one for sale?

It's a 250 LM custom built as 275P. Hotwheels has never produced this item...

I agree... The box is evidence of that fact - it says LM. In terms of whether it's "rare" or not? Sure it is...probably 1 of a kind, or 1 of very few as the seller is probably also the customizer.

I see this kind of thing a lot with the Corvette diecasts, as well. There are many *many* diecasts out there for the Vette community. Unfortunately, there are some cars that were never made (i.e., pace cars, special editions, certain paint schemes, etc.). The one-offs that appear on eBay will sometimes not sell at all, or they'll go like crazy - many times what the model is actually "worth" - because there's a large enough population of owners that want that exact model for their collection...

Well I'd agree it may not be custom as Hot Wheels plays it pretty loose with packaging!

    Anyone else seen this????

May be a new issue, I have not seen the 275P here in US............yet!

It's a custum as cavallinomodels says!! 200% sure.

I have a 250P and a cabriolet based on the 250LM and is made by RP-models (italy)

yep.. that's right. Look on the box! It says: Ferrari 250/LM

And besides that.. hotwheels never made a 275P. Every model that hotwheels produce is anounced before you can buy it.. every model. I have never read something about this model..
