    the yellow enzo they had also was his.

    and apparently he will be an owner of a veyron. SVAG is going to be an official dealer for Bugatti.

    Currently I am helping a friend in the aquisisition of chassis 28. He sold the car due to wanted to start a new business venture and the aqusisition of the Bugatti. More info to follow.

    Yeah, i talked to a fellow earlier that said the same information. I hear that its headed to the san diego area, which i assume is where your friend lives.

    anything you can say about him that wouldnt be too much? Does he already have a nice collection? Would he track it or just keep it in the garage?

    Shared some stories about NEVER being driven. Cliff's a super nice guy, but he *never* drives his cars. I remember aksing him about his 288, and his response was that the last person to drive it (AHEM R) was almost a year ago, to take it over for an oil change.

    Excuse me for my Noobieness, but who is Cliff Meltzer. His name is mentioned quite often, but I don't know who he is. It seems like he has a beautiful collection of cars, but he is getting rid of a lot of them. If possible, can someone spread some light on me?

    Lol.. John, Cliff was supposedly (I'm not exactly sure) a top executive of Cisco Systems from their early days. Dan (Bobafett) knows him personally I assume so he'd be the one to answer your question most aptly. Cliff has/had one of the best collections of cars ever IMO. F50, Enzo, McLaren F1, 288 GTO etc.. the guy was a true pimp but different sources say different things. Some think he's getting a Veyron.. he doesn't need to sell shiet to get that.. that guy could probably buy all the Veyrons... another source says he's getting a large winery/vineyard.. which could cost an arm & a leg depending on size/location. Either way, who cares in the end.. the yellow car was the Sultan of Brunei's car according to salesman Jack at SVAG. Anyway, hopefully that clears up some doubts.. :)

    Cliff is a great guy and has an incredible collection. He does drive his cars but some of the rarer ones he drives a lot less than others. I know he also does track days with some of his collection and he is a true enthusiast.
    He has returned to Cisco, dont ask me how I know :)
