57713 Gearbox number 248. Black interior with red inserts. Fitted with air conditioning and power windows. Sold new to first owner Peter Capone of Oyster Bay/NY, owner of Zeigler Coach Co. in New York (USA). EPA/DOT conversion carried out by Amerispec Corporation. Titled in New York in 1993. Offered for sale in the Los Angeles Times on October 31, 1993 by Zeigler Coach Co. with 5,000 kms on the odometer. Asking price was 400,000 USA Dollars. June 2005 at TDH Terry Hoyle Classics in England with UK plates B 656 KNH, now has full black interior. Marcel Massini
I was offered it for circa 450k Euros very recently but I cannot confirm that this was the same price the German collector paid. Id think it was close. Joe www.joesackey.com
It was sold at the RM Auction in London on October 31st for GBP 225k (Euro 315k). I believe the buyer was E. Thiesen KG (German Dealer). When I saw the car at Thiesen in Hamburg it still had British Plates B656 KNH. The manager said he had it for a day before it was sold on. He would not give me the price but I am sure they made a nice profit on it.
