    I found this interesting article about a Norwood 288 GTO that has been modified to run on the salt flats. I did a search but came up with nothing so sorry if it is a repost. It has an 8.2 Liter V8 with 1829 HP and it is running at 268 MPH =)

    Yeah I had assumed. But I didn't find anything on search so I figured it was worth a try for the people who haven't seen it.

    Here's one of the 308 Bonnevilles currently undergoing restoration, this was at the ICF Grapevine event last year. Bob has made quite a few attempts over the years but what I was told this was one of the earlier cars.(non GTO style) During the tear down of this vehicle, salt could be found in various cracks & crevices throwout the chassis.
