    This is one of the most compelling of all Ferraris for me personally. I have two questions.

    1) Is this the car that the F40 was based on?

    2) Does this car represent the most developed of all the 308 derived engine/chassis cars?

    I've been away from FChat for a while - busy having kids, etc! Sorry for dropping off the radar!

    Just noticed that my PM box is 100% full!!

    Just clicked straight to the end of this post, so apologies if I'm not up to speed!

    I used to have one of these - correct nomenclature is "GTO Evoluzione", not "288 GTO Evoluzione", as I may have previously stated!
