I'm looking for pictures or info of one of the Evolizione's. It is the protoype with cass.nr. 50253. Maybe there are pictures of it before it became a evoluzione and maybe someone has pictures of it afther is became a evoluzione. Gr. Xander
Not sure that anyone here except maybe Marcel has kept track of the remaining GTO Evos by serial number. I believe only 4 of 5 remain. And I thought they were all built as 288 GTO Evoluziones, not as any other previous chassis. These are the only listed serial numbers, all beginning with a 7: 70167 The only GTO Evo fitted with Tipo F114CR engine, F40 development car 70205 Standard GTO engine, F40 development car 79887 79888 79889 There are a few threads here on FChat on this car if you do a "search". This one was at Pebble Beach this past August (Michael Gregg Photo): Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not sure how accurate some of this is, but it appears that 50253 was the original concept of the Evo, but looked like a regular 288 GTO. It appeared on the Pininfarina stand at the 1984 Geneva show. Still, can't find photos. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=164148&page=82 http://www.barchetta.cc/english/all.ferraris/Detail/50253.288.GTO.Evo.htm http://www.forum-auto.com/marques/ferrari/sujet133.htm
Did someone knows a book about the Ferrari 288 Gto Evoluzione? I need more pics about the engine. Thanks
Just to be pedantic, the proper name for these cars is "GTO Evoluzione". There is no "288" in the name!
Note that the exhaust and wing are different than on others i`ve seen. Im no expert on theese cars, but i really love them. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

ZFFPX16X0G0070167 was fully refurbished at Michelotto in 2014/2015 I was there in 2014. Same owner had F40LM ZFFGX34X000099401 refurbished (2014/2015) as well. video both cars in 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9a13IIIAMs
Probably. Pictures of this car were in the January 1987 issue of Auto Motor und Sport and the story clearly states it was the only car in existence at the time. Natan Tazelaar
Guessing these are the same two cars spotted in a dealers showroom in Tokyo over on pistonheads. I assume this is Bingo Sports? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ha, snap! luckily I had another read of the pistonheads thread where someone identified what it was before I made an idiot of myself
Appears to be. I did not spot the roof mounted wing in that pic until I did a google! Image Unavailable, Please Login
