    Excuse me if I'm asking a no brainer or naive question but I have been asked by someone in the US to look into the possibility of making reproductions of the glass lens to fit a 288 front foglight or driving light.

    I've been through this already making the same part for the 328 with some success and certainly with no negative feedback. For the 328 these items are unobtanium so the interest was reasonably high and of course the factory made a lot in comparison to the GTO.

    I've scanned through a few of the usual sites and the GTO lights seem to be available in some and not in others.

    My question is...do you think there is a market for these or put another way are they really not available in glass anymore?

    I don't think they are available anymore. There is a local 288 that has only 2 front fog lights instead of 4. Two were broken and they couldn't find replacements at the time.

    As for there being a market, that's a different matter. With only 272 examples out there, you are never going to be bowled over in the rush.

    Supply and demand, not sure if there is much demand though.
