288 GTO paint correction video by Esoteric Auto Detail!

Hello F-Chatters!

We recently completed a major paint correction / Restorative Detail on the iconic 288 GTO, and wanted to share it with everybody in a special way. Instead of doing the normal write-up, we figured that we would put together a video so that you could follow through the process, and see the magnificent transformation that this car went through.

The month of December was a busy one for us, as we completed major paint correction details on 3 Ferrari Supercars...2 F40's, and a 288 GTO (all different owners). Most people won't even see 3 of these in a lifetime, and most detailers won't work on 3 of them in their entire careers...we did it in 30 days.

Todd, simply by looking at the Megaphone 'pipes, I want to say this car is chassis number 53289.

Todd, you're amazing. The car looks wet; I half expected to see red dripping onto the white floor in the video.

 

Joe, speaking of GTOs and F40s, do you know the current whereabouts of 55673 and 87608? Are they together in the same collection?

Thanks Carbon...the GTO definitely went through a major transformation and looks incredible now. We haven't seen a Ferrari yet that we couldn't make look better.
