Sleeping since years among some other great cars -#57219 with only 8,129 km on the clock and still with its 2nd -but not recorded!-owner! Ciao! Walter Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm really becoming a HUGE fan of the 288 GTO...if only I had the garage space. Oh yea, and the money to purchase one.
Yep, and there some veeeery nice other toys in that garage - among them an Alfa 33 "Stradale" in untouched condition.... Ciao! Walter
I'm not sure which so called owner modified it but the damage has been done, hopefully it can be un done.
The word damage refers to the resale price/authenticity of the car not as in it's damaged /wrecked, I used the word modified (it is and un-original), that's my definition of it. Sorry for any confusion. I get sick to my stomach when I see people do this to 288's btw. You'll figure it out.
And, this was a factory-authorized / customer request option for the 288 when new, IIRC So, there should be no "foul" there for a 288 having those pipes.
WALTER --- Do have pics of the blue? 308/328 that's backed up to it (the GTO)? Is there anything "special" about that one, I'm curious?
Ansa provided Megaphones for the 288 GTO when the cars were new. The original Ansa units are mild steel (not stainless) and they sound GLORIOUS!
