Of course that is the name of one of the layers, but let's repsect Paul's right to his personal privacy.

I've organized several events to his Flying Heritage Collection (http://www.flyingheritage.com/) so have dealt with the layers of lawyers for Navigea ltd, Vulcan Inc., and FHC Inc. and it was well worth it. The result was the MOST gracious permittance to allow our Ferrari Club to pull one of his famous aircraft out and photograph our Ferraris next to it; Upupa epops, N723FH, (http://mustangsmustangs.com/p-51/survivors/pages/44-72364.shtml).
If you have not experienced his quest for aeronautical history and accuracy, then I highly recommend you visit the FHC. The man simply does NOT compromise on quality and originality. Request guide Art Unrhu and he will give you a remarkable tour of the facility, describe how restorations include the most minute details (cloth wound wiring insulation, etc) and impress you with their history.

He applies the same ethics to his 288GTO and regular spottings by tifosi can be noted.
    In short, "He drives!"

Just wait until his Me-262 is finished - WOW!

Remind you of Venician Murano style glass?

The PNW is quite active and you can see the art in action. In downtown Seattle they demonstrate it at one of his studios with huge windows for public viewing. Besides being the second fastest growing wine region in the USA, there is a VERY strong Ferrari following. For example, another trip by our (me) local Ferrari club starts this week and shows that we have 51 people on the 3 day event.
I wish that someday we host the National FCA meet here and can show the country what scenery and culture abounds.
Then again, the Kirkland Concours probably displays that quite well...

I agree, Dale's been creating great things for many years now. I have quite a few of his pieces in my glass collection.

It's interesting to see how many "car guys" that I run into who also have some of Dale's work.

If you haven't done so and ever have the chance, definitely take a tour of his Ballard Studio and his Boathouse on Lake Union. It's a great experience.

Nice pics Scott. I must have gone at the wrong time today because even though the great cars were there on display, I didn't manage to see a single one of the owners, nor anyone from the local Ferrari club. :(

    Hello,

Is it possible that you have the serial number of the Enzo? The pictures are amazing and I love all the cars.

    Thanks

Sorry I don't keep track of that stuff. For 20 dollars, it is one of the best deals in automotive viewing AND you're helping a great cause. Why not consider attending?

The weather is always good and cars come from as far away as Switzerland and S. America.

Perhaps SRSLUSSO got a look of it as he walked them in to help them park it at last month's FerrariChat gathering in Monterey.

F1 race started at 11:30AM, had to dine and dash. Sorry

hmmmm nobody has even pondered who the F40 owner is nor the reason there is no display board in front of ONLY the F40.
    Amazing.
Probably one of the finest examples and most original F40s ever.

    Chihuly lives and breaths art.
Even Dale's shoes are even works of art. I took this shot.

PS - in that sixth shot (last photo) is a Concours judge of considerable noteriety, Dominic Dobson (blue sport coat, hat, & sunglasses), speaking with the F40 owner. Dominic's vast racing history includes Indy 500, CART, and LeMan's series. Dominic raced at LeMans where he co-drove with ex-Ferrari pilot Jean Alesi.
    http://www.dobsonmotorsport.com/about.html

At last years Vintage Race weekend at Pacific raceways there were several charity events. I purchased the full on auction package which included a hosted drive around the track for three people. The driver was not listed in the auction so it was an unknown beforehand.

As myself and two friends entered the car, the driver introduced himself
"Hi I'm Dominic, I'll be your driver today".
He immediately departed on the raceway entrance runway by entering the first controlled slide to the right and I responded
    "...as in Dobson? Oh my!"
He deftly flung the car to the left and entered the second controlled slide as the entrance way S'ed into the take up area and casually responded with a polite
"Yes, glad to have you along"
As we entered the high speed straight I tried to comment that I had been a fan in his Porsche 962 days. His absolute control of the vehicle was amazing! Pushed the limits and knew the exact breaking free points with ease of recovery.
