    Dreamcar Garage on SPEED after the F1 qualifying had a nice little segment on a 288GTO... like new car with 15,000 miles. Just FYI,

    Really? Cool! Then maybe I can ask a question that occurred to me while watching... I wondered:

    What was the owner of it thinking when they took off spinning the wheels?

    (The car has obviously been kept immaculate... spirited driving won't hurt that... but spinning the tires and throwing up rubber/rocks/dirt could!)

    You can search around and find his exact reply the first time this aired but he told Peter he could do a burn out.
    This is the same 288 that won best of show at the 2003 French Quarter Concourso. The owner is a very nice fellow- gave me (total stranger) a ride at the track in it.
