For some reason as I approach my locked car it no longer unlocks even though my key is with me. I cannot seem to find how to activate this in the owners manual. My key ban manually lock and unlock the door but it’s far more convenient to have the car unlock automatically as I approach it. Any suggestions?

Replaced battery still doesn’t work. The car doesn’t lock on its own when I leave the car. I have to use the key fob to lock or unlock the car

I think you have deactivated the walkaway function (WAL) and I think it is described round about p 98 of the manual

I just figured it out. I just needed to stand near the car and click the lock button twice which will activate or deactivate the auto lock feature. Apparently I inadvertently clicked the lock button twice when attempting to open the frunk about a week ago. Now it’s back to normal.
