Hi all, sorry if the question has been asked already. I have a very nice 296GTB (2023) and Im considering part exchange it for a sf90 stradale (2021) with a lot of options. Is any of you have both cars ? I love the 296 but I may have a good deal on a very high spec sf90 thanks
SF90 has better presence than 296. 296has better steering. For me, I prefer how 296 drives on the road. I wish 296 had V8 though. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
296 is an amazing car, I haven’t driven one but I think its packaging and its specification - power, rwd, hybrid delivery - make it a great road and trip car. But there will be many made and the SF90 is a real bargain in Europe currently. It will always be fairly rare, V8, 1,000 hp, a brilliant drive and retain the cachet of being the halo car compared with 296. No wrong decision but to change a 296 for an SF90, purely on a car for car basis, could easily make sense to me.
I owned a 296 and now have a SF90. As has been said, the SF has more presence and is arguably the more attractive, more aggressive looking car. It also has better traction from a launch due to being AWD. The 296 feels more lively, is more responsive to throttle and brake inputs on the track, is slightly faster from rolling speeds, sounds better, and has more storage space than the SF.
I just tested the SF90 (AF) on track a few days ago - my feeling is that the car is faster than the 296, but as a driver I'm probably faster with a 296. For whatever reason I thought it difficult to connect with the car, whereas the 296 is more like a typical mid-engined Ferrari berlinetta - much faster, but similar. Although as an average driver I'm far from the limits on both cars, it's easier for me to understand what I could, and could not, do with a 296; I just did not hear the SF90 talk to me and tell me how far I could go... So with my perceptions I would choose a 296 over an SF90, in spite of my reservations about the 296 instability under hard braking (initially disturbing, but not critical once you expect it) - the SF90 dos not have this behavior (probably thanks to its longer wheelbase) but it's still more difficult to understand for me (maybe it's the 4wd, or the grip of the Cup2 tires... I have no idea).
The SF90 is the first hybrid try and the 296 is unbeatable with it's go kart feeling to drive. Unless you drive on a fast race track speed difference is not noticable. SF90 design lacks Ferrari beauty, 296 will be remembered.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The 296 looks like a Lotus, the SF90 has the looks of a real supercar!
great question. I have a 296 on order and was able to get a SF90 at MSRP back in Aug. 2023. The 296 IMHO has no soul when I look at it, again... that is just me, ..... I feel the SF90 has a supercar exotic look and sounds great at higher RPM and is an amazing car to drive. We just got back from the mountains and loved the handling....
Side profile is the best car on the market, 250 lm hips are sexy, have you seen 296 before? sf90xx is beautiful, but the back of sf90 looks like a camaro while trying to make it look like a ferrari enzo Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks like a Lancia Rally 037. Image Unavailable, Please Login On that note, the Kimera Evo37 is awesome too: Image Unavailable, Please Login

It’s hard to argue when someone shares their honest reaction - someone might not be excited by the design, but others are. I think the 296 is gorgeous, but thats just me. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
We don’t own a 296 and have two SF90’s. The 296 looks fantastic to my eyes. That side view is pure Ferrari, full of purpose, stance and history. Manzoni and his team did a great job with that car. The SF90 is a brilliant car and very much the elder brother, but the 296 fills its brief just as well.
SF90 V8 even if next gen -who knows, all around much different build than 296. Lil brothers like Aventador / Huracán etc .... 6'2 205 doesn't work in many spiders as they shrink the cabin. SF90 extremely comfortable a lot like Senna. 296 Ford GT Huracan etc are tighter / compact and so on.
