That looks incredible. Thanks for sharing. Very close to my 296 spec. Beautiful house/building in the background btw. If yours - well done on both a beautiful car and house. K
Greetings Verde Zeltweg friends! I also specced my GTB in VZ over Beige Tradizione. Was keen to make a change from blue/gray/black. My F8 Spider is Blu Ellectrico so went to the green side on this one. Expected late Spring '23 as of now. Thought it might be unique but guess not Given the usual standard metallic colors are now a $11k extra, the 2 layer paints are "only" $2-3k more so no brainer really. Initial spec was Blu LeMans but have had 3 blue F cars so forced myself to move away. As mentioned, the configurator renders VZ like black but as per pictures, lighter. good hi res pictures on a Roma
believe Imola falls under special colors, my numbers were a bit off, guess it is a rounding error The usual metallic colors which used to be included are the classic colors or so I was told Image Unavailable, Please Login
I never really thought about the pricing.... You are so right! why not pay a little bit more to get a dual layer paint. I totally agree! I have found that it is really hard to photograph VZ and a friend of mine who is a photographer advised the following; Cameras compensate on 2 axis for colour. Warm (orange) to cold (blue) and on tint, green to pink. Green cars throw out the cameras balance a bit. So after you take the photos you have to make some minor adjustments. By the way, I went with Beige (Old Range Leather) which is even lighter than Beige Tradizione. This will be a first for me too.
Very interesting details re green cars in pictures, thanks for this. Picture from Dutch dealer (Kroymans), looks great in the sun Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Scott think someone else already asked this but what colour red is this? and what interior did you go for?
Great spec! Heading to the factory this weekend to spec my GTS - the dreamlines are an interesting touch I hadn't considered. Did you do them in bronze or gold? And rough idea of the price of just the dreamlines (not the stripe)?
but not 21k better bro. you can get by with a nice quality custom vinyl one that you can remove any time.
Imola is a 2 layer. I had my dealer’s bodyshop do a panel spray out of it for me then I did a couple of spray outs of speed shapes in it myself.
I just checked and my stripes have been quoted at $30,373. Although this is a lot of money, it will really make the car and I really love looking at my painted stripes on my TDF. There is so much detail and it is impressive to look at. I agree you can get a quality job done in Vinyl, I did this with my 992 Touring. Image Unavailable, Please Login
He should check again, it's a normal two layer metallic. My dealer thought it was a three layer but checked with the factory and they confirmed it is a two layer hence why it is priced as a PNTN code (special/launch colour) at $12,487. Ferrari don't discount three layer paints to that price. I don't know what the charge for a three layer colour is in the US but in the UK a two layer PNTN colour like Rosso Imola was £7,104 prior to the latest price increase whilst three layers colours started at £15,000.
I did the Dreamlines in bronze on the entire exterior and some on the interior (paddles, center stripe at 12 o'clock). Cost was around 15K for the dreamline
Notice the thin bronze line on the rear diffuser and side skirts. It also goes around the front splitter but i don't have a pic of that
Very nice look, especially on dark green! The central stripe which ends perfectly above the panel housing the tail lights is very delicate. That stripe suits the rest of the car in that color.
