They're obviously two completely different models, but certainly understand why you'd keep the F8. I was close with the F8 Spider at one point, but missed that opportunity. I'd say I'm glad I missed the F8 Spider because I really really like the 296 GTS, but that would be disingenuous, if for no other reason than the current resale market for the F8's. That said, I never look back, and I'm very happy to be getting the GTS, I actually prefer those lines.
There are no allocations for a GTS yet. Not even close. Even the GTB does not have any customer production orders started that I know of (at least for US cars). Many of us have deposits down, and are on wait lists for one or both of the cars. That is not an allocation, yet. patience.
Put my order in last week. No spec sheet yet. Looks like a 2025 delivery at this point. So still have time to enjoy the 308 GTSi and my spider 458.
Just wired a $10k deposit for a top ten slot on my dealers list. I feel weird about it because it’s not a car that excites me on paper, especially compared to the 812 GTS I have on order. But dealer is due to get a GTB in the fall and he said I can make a final decision after driving it. So I’m keeping an open mind about the car. Maybe it will blow my mind, or maybe it will be a non-engaging fast car. Happy to have the option to pick an early one up if it moves me.
My GTB and GTS showed up in my Ferrari app at the start of the month. My GTB has a picture and the color I chose but the GTS has no photo associated with it. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Yup. Mine too (GTS) , showed up in the app a couple of days after announcement. I put my deposit on shortly after the GTB announcement was made though
Yes. It showed up in the app late April. However, it also showed I was still on the waiting list for an 812 GTS and I had already taken delivery.
I ordered and GTB last fall and it shows up in MyFerrari app. I also ordered the GTS and made the deposit before the official launch date but it's not showing up in the app. My dealer in NA says I can't configure it yet. Does that make sense? These will be my first Ferraris so I have very little experience with Ferrari. Would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks so much!
You can set a tentative spec with the dealer for the GTB but the configurator for the dealer is not ready for the GTS. That said it’s not the actual order specification which won’t be set until you lock in your contract a few months prior to production. Essentially for now any spec is a wish list.
My car is showing in the app as waiting list but without a pic, docs, or configuration data. I did submit a placeholder build. Anyone show more detail in the app than me?

Stopped at the dealer a few weeks ago and my sales associate told me they took 50 deposits in the 48 hours after the 296 GTS was announced.
