I agree with @gzachary . I thought there was considerable brown / bronze tones in fiorano. I saw it on a car before I decided against it and went with magma. Thepic below is untouched . The car had only been washed. Image Unavailable, Please Login View attachment 3805341
Another datapoint: My dealership had an event right after I received my R Fiorano SF90, and it was shown as part of the event. I heard two different couples saying they didn't like this red (fiorano). I asked one of them (who didn't know it was my car) what they thought. I told them that it was Rosso Fiorano. Both the wife and the husband thought a different red would look better on the SF90. It was about 30 minutes before sundown, so the car looked less red than in the picture above. Ask your dealer if they have any cars with Fiorano in for maintenance or parking in their back lot so you can see what it looks like on a real car.
Although I would always try to ignore comments from others (and usually do!) it was irritate me to have people not like the colour I'd chosen. Anyway.... thanks, however, whilst it looks nice in the pics there are other reds I would rather have - Magma, Fuoco and Corsa Metallic which is on my current 296 although I wouldn't spec it myself because it is just too subtle for the money.
My car in Rosso Maranello at my dealer as a comparison to the magma. The car has a deep liquid appearance in the sun that’s difficult to capture in photos. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Magma is 4 layer , here it is in the workshop to compare to Maranello ( which is a beautiful colour too ) price will vary from country to country Image Unavailable, Please Login
You are correct It is a deeper colour than Magma, more toward a rich red wine in deepness but no violet tones . Some say it is the in between colour of Coburn and Magma.
Yes 4 layer, the paint has a silver pearlescent base and gives a true red liquid appearance where Fuoco has gold/coppper undertones and I’m not sure about magma but I believe it’s a maserati color and I’ve seen in on a maserati before.
Correct . It was developed when Maserati and Ferrari were together by Ferrari. I have not seen it on a Maserati since. Then it was commissioned through the Tailor Made programme for a few new Ferraris, including this 488 Pista. Now it is an option although hard to get a sample of . It is 4 layer according to my options plaque on the car . This is not a bad article to compare a lot of the reds , https://rossoautomobili.com/blogs/magazine/15-shades-of-ferrari-red
