Hi Guys, I bought a 2024 certified 296 GTB. Since ive gotten it the parking brake does not engage until I turn off the car. I put into neutral and click the parking brake but it does not engage until I turn off the car. Has anyone had a similar experience?
In neutral the click activated “hold” and shows that in the instrument panel. If you power off then the park lock engages. You wouldn’t park your car while the engine is running. It’s the same in a manual transmission. You put in neutral and engage the hand brake while the engine is running. To park you put it in gear and shut off.
