I'm on my 3rd F12 spoiler lip in 42k miles driven. Ironically, $1500 aftermarket CF ones are about half the price of the factory plastic piece, and less than 1/5 the factory CF piece.
No and no. 5mm lower than standard GTB. Multimatics have titanium springs. Jethro says get the multimatics. "Similarly, the body control afforded by the Multimatic dampers is breathtaking. Later, on the road, there’s a price to pay for the steely control, but, for me, it’s a trade worth making. Imagine a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS. Now sharpen it up by maybe 20 percent". Jethro Bovingdon
didn’t they only drive magnaride on the road, and only multimatic on track - so it might be difficult for them to determine how it would have performed otherwise.
that why you have Ferrari engineers, Test drivers (Rafa de Simone) and the Fiorano track. They determine. Jethro has driven and reported on all four GTB, AF, GTS and Speciale. He's given his feedback that immediately the Speciale feels different from the 296 GTB. Particularly the steering response and rack feedback. This is down to the multimatics. You will lose some steering feel with the magnerides I guess is the trade off for the lift.
