Hey, does anybody know a good 296 GTS tow hook? (GTB should be the same) should be M16x1,5 i guess. length i don‘t know atm - cause my 296GTS will arrive next week.. i think that a lot of new Ferrari models have the same tow hook. didn‘t checked the part number until now. examples: https://www.ricambiamerica.com/tow-0x-tow-hook-challenge-style.html not pretty. https://www.fabspeed.com/ferrari-296-gts-gtb-front-tow-hook/ not worth the money and i would like it yellow thx to all in advance!
Check the service pouch/toolkit in your front trunk (left side when you're looking down). The ugly tow hook is in there.
According to Ricambi America, M16 x 1.5 applies to 360 / F430 / 488 (and I suppose F8); since fabspeed has a specific tow hook (at a higher price) for the 296, it's probably different (or it could be just the longer version, as on the 550 / 575 / 599 / 612). On the other hand, eurospares has just one single Ferrari reference for the 296 and 360, F430, 458, 488, F8, as 155838 ... Maybe the fabspeed part is lighter and could not stand the weight of the 296.
