The Tem is a total miss in design language and tech/performance for what we expect from lambo. I’m totally out on the model and disappointed as I had several prior Lambos.
Back to topic, having casually followed the pricings in Europe, I was wondering why the 296 was apparently less subject to depreciation in France. I had a relatively long talk with a Porsche sales representative yesterday, and I think I have some clue - we have prohibitive emission taxes in France; since the 296 is hybrid it's only lightly impacted and in the end a GT3 is priced similarly to a 296 GTB and a GT3 RS is priced at about the expected price of the 296 Speciale. Although both Porsches are appealing, they are significantly less powerful than the Ferraris, which makes those appear less overpriced. Btw, I was told that a new GT3 was easy to obtain, whereas getting a GT3 RS was more difficult (so its price does not really discourage customers).
There's 287 GTS/GTB 296's for sale in US! Tells you everything you need to know about impending depreciation.
Thoughts on this one? Looks like a solid spec. Bucket seats, triple yellow (expensive), surround view, lift, hi-fi, etc.... I think this is the cheapest CPO car so far. Just got price drop from 299 to 289 https://preowned.ferrari.com/en-US/a/north-america/used-ferrari/usa/ferrari-south-bay/296-gtb/ZFF99SLAXN0279866-1752802568656
No LEDs, and the plate says "black tailpipe tips" which are far from obvious in the pictures - I wonder what is the purpose of this option since the pipe is still very clear and will always show dirt (unlike if actually black).
Another thing , theses dealers that claim ‘front and rear suspension lift ‘ what are they trying to pull ? Something is wrong with this listing
I figured the ferrari websites are just not that good and front and rear suspension lift was just a translation issue or something
This car has been listed for sale forever. I believe it was Ferrari Silicon Valley's demo car for potential customers. If you pull the Carfax the registration history should be able to validate that or not. It might also show you the "listed for sale" history. You could also ask the seller.

I’m gonna disagree too. The car is amazing on track, on street, it looks absolutely beautiful and it is the quickest car I have ever owned. I seriously have not found a flaw in 8 months of ownership. I’m gonna say, it is Ferrari perfection. This is coming from a guy who once sincerely vowed to never own a hybrid. Can’t wait to get my Speciale. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's an update on my price tracking model. I'm not surprised that prices have been coming down, but I am with how quickly they have fallen. Image Unavailable, Please Login This is a pricing model based on the 296 GTB listings, and is an estimation of the advertised price of a 'average' 296 GTB. (A red 2023 with ~2000 miles on it with an average number of options).
Different car. I bought the Ferrari Silicon Valley demo car last year. Image Unavailable, Please Login The car in the listing is missing the external carbon fiber. My car didn’t come with a carbon steering wheel either but I’ve ordered one.
I feel awkward telling people I collect social security benefits when they ask me what I do for a living at gas stations!
