YOU SAVED ME. My dealer called me and asked me if I still want to order the GTS. I found it suspicious. Now I know why, I begged them for 1 year straight.

What’s the AEV going to feature that yours doesn’t already? I thought you lifted it and fit it with 37’s?

Mine has a stock suspension with 37's and Rock Slide steps. Everything else is stock. The AEV version has a full suspension, bumpers, wheels, tires, etc. I am not sure of the package yet but I am interested in upgrading the suspension, I don't really need a lift though.

Most recent listings on the preowned Ferrari site are at MSRP or close to. Compared to the 20-50k over…let the fun begin!

Boardwalk Ferrari who still has a couple cars priced well above MSRP (not consignment, and has had them for more than 4 months I know of), just posted a new listing that asking is less than 2k more than original sticker.

I would start at 60K off MSRP and go from there. They can't give them away right now. Way too many out there and the SF90 is not far off in price for a barely used one. F8's are doing better than the 296's.

    296s: more inventory than SF90s.
You are correct, F8s have been flying off faster and faster..

Demo's and some that have a few miles, maybe, but I don't think 60k below will get most, I have a detailed list going and most do look like they are moving roughly at MSRP. Cars that come out of the gate priced reasonable seem to move pretty quickly. The list of 296 keeps growing because they keep putting new listings out priced like it's 2021 and they just set. I don't get the hold out on hoping for a big above MSRP payday, especially on a 2022 that the warranty clock is ticking down on some to 12> months left, and with the quirks and questions still around the hybrid system, no way would I own one with only a year left on main warranty.

One of the worst things I've read on this forum is you leaving the brand... it's sad knowing that a dealer you've worked with for a very long time has not met your expectations, likely due to new ownership/management as that could be a catalyst. Wishing you the best of luck, as your sanity and reasoning has been a tremendous asset to Fchat members like me.

Values on 296 cars will tank... there's absolutely no surprise there. The hybrid setup is just not there for folks long term, especially once the warranty runs out. Not many folks out there know how to work on the electric systems/powertrain and they're madly expensive to do so. Winter is coming.

The hybrid portion has a 7 year warranty , more than enough for 1st and 2nd owners

Trust me, the depreciation hit comes way before the warranty expiration.

So it is depreciation , like all models do , we are not in the halcyon days of Covid and just after . Hybrid and its reliability , which is tried and true by Ferrari via F1 , has little to do with it . Particularly with under 50 year old buyers

  23. It's kind of sad, but I feel like these days especially with the 296 and SF90 it is a game of "flippers".

The cars get flipped from one buyer to another all in the hopes of making a quick $$$ and the next owner just wants to get out before the music stops and all the chairs are taken and he's the one left standing.

1/2 a percent to 1 percent is not gonna move the needle. At 4% or 5% financing then that's a different story.
