Not so simple - they sell every car. Ferrari makes rules / dealers break them will be upsetting for many. Agree with others, VS coupe over my 296GTS probably not and same with XX coupe over SF90 AF, 12Ci over my 812GTS - this may be the norm - add tariffs.
Apologies if this is has already been said. According to rumors probably at 29 both presentation of coupe and spider. And also according to rumors the name will be a circuit name owned by Ferrari. Just a few days for these rumors to be confirmed on not.
Who cares about an allocation for the 296 VS? Wait til it hits the secondary market. I'm almost 99% sure it will depreciate, like many other modern F-cars. Ferrari is not worth simping for anymore. We live in a new world now, and things have changed.
Yes, that has already been said, but it doesn't matter — 296 Mugello sounds good, I think! We'll see about that very soon. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’ll only be interested in the VS Coupe if my SA calls me about it. Otherwise I’m playing hard to get. And if he never calls I’ll forget about the whole thing to save face.

Far too many cars are being built and they're not limited and they're hybrid, so they're not going to go up in value.
You dont know how many cars they will built. And you dont know if they are going up or not. And you dont know if they are limited.
We already know that the cars are not limited, so there will be several models. Only 30-50 HP more that's it.
A 488 Pista is now worth more because it is the last mid-engined V8 without a hybrid. A 458 Speciale is now worth even more than a 488 Pista because it is the last naturally aspirated V8. Be realistic, a 296 VS may be a great car, but it won't be anything special because the successor will also have a V6 hybrid again. A 296 VS will be nothing different to the 488 Pista or 458 Speciale and even there the Pistas and Speciale fell in value until people realized that it was the last real sports car without a hybrid.
If someone are looking for a car that is fast and reasonably rare, a 296 VS will be a good choice. However, it will not be comparable to an 812 Competizione, SF90 XX, SP3 as these cars are limited in number and are something special. With the 296 VS, Ferrari should simply have built a 296 road legal Challenge, no hybrid, lightweight and 750 hp, then the car would be interesting in all areas.
As I mentioned yesterday, there's no teaser or info in the video. They are playing it VERY close to the vest.
It's funny to see that you still believe in rarity and Ferrari's speech... recently, remember the 812 GTS whose official speech was "just for the best customers" as well as for the Pista... It makes me think of the woman who spends the night with her office colleague and says to her husband "darling, it was the last time, I promise you"... They will build as many cars as there are customers to buy it. Nothing else !!!!!!!! And they will make you believe by serving the best customers at the beginning that it is not for everyone. Are you not used to it now ? It is a company whose only objective is RACE, not your personal financial satisfaction.
I agree with you, I posted email because I was asked Additionally, looking to see if it meant something by getting the email or it was a generic email that everyone receives
I wouldn't look into any of that, getting an email doesn't make us special. If you get allocation and car shows up on the app under waiting list, then you can smile. Until then, don't count on anything.
In 18 months in the UK they will be below list if they are same numbers as Pista, I sold my Pista after 18 months of ownership and lost money
@day355 - don't necessarily disagree with you as they will do what they have to, to maximize profits. Days of LDM are gone unfortunately. The reality also is that the demand is also a lot higher than ever before so whether the minority of us whether it be the purists or individuals aligned to a different philosophy, the company will be able to sell every single unit they can make. What i think is also important, is how do we influence the company to also make products that rewards its loyal customers that have stayed with them. And i mean not the VVIPs or individuals who are all set and will get allocations to the SP4 etc. It's people like us that crave for a more analog experience that is also visceral and not determined by "how fast the car is". Compound that with the fact that hybrids are here to stay. If all companies can stop chasing the horsepower war than we would be okay, but then are regulations to deal with too. So what is the option for us? what other brand is there for us to go to or what older cars are there we can buy? Unfortunately the speciale in the US has become unattainable now. If the VS can deliver the experience of a speciale and i mean not in terms of speed but in terms of how viseral and raw the speciale and the older special series felt, i'd say they have accomplished the goal. if its muted and just chasing records, then i'll be disappointed.
