Mclaren numbers their special cars and they make about 1/3 of the total cars so in fact McLaren is much more exclusive.
A friend in Fla just tried to get an allocation from West Palm today. He just received an XX with sticker over $1mm. Dealer told him no allocation without a 296. Perhaps this is dealers way of clearing their 296 inventory. Doesn't have to be a new 296, can be used. He's buying a 296 to get an allocation.
not surprised. The dealers know their total allocations and have say in who gets it. There will be quite a few people that will not be happy.
I do not think this is correct and I am pretty sure that the standard is just the plastic parts that you see when you de-select the carbon parts in the configurator.
Do you have a link for the configurator with a light background, Im speccing black but its almost invisible due to the black setting
700+154 = 854, so the actual power is more than the sum... However, 154 is not quoted as the max power of the electric system, it's the max power in e-drive (i.e. electric only), which is probably limited in order to offer more range in that mode.
So let’s not forget that all these allocations are the initial allocations to dealers , so the must have a Ferrari in the last five years seems logical. Just like Pista there will be more allocations . The car is elegantly aggressive and you get a lot of standard stuff for you extra $$$, the carbon and coupled with the various colours and stripes almost come up to that . A negative for me is the Alcantara interior , to me it is just not durable and difficult to keep looking fresh. Great to see a lifter available
Interesting to see white finished rims as standard option... I really like it and hope to see extensively chosen. Jorge HG
I love what they've done with the design. Talked to dealer today and getting an allocation spot. Can't wait to spec it!
