2025 is going to be an EPIC year! 296 VS 840 bhp $450k base SF90M 1,060 bhp $560k base Battery EV 1,000 bhp $490k base
Are those HP/prices confirmed? Also what kind of form factor will the BEV be? Supercar? SUV? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No prices and HP are confirmed ...... Especially an sf90M cannot cost as a normal sf90 ........ If the 296sv follow the sf90xx prece should be over $500k if it follow the Pista stile ....... maybe
BEV will be ‘mid engine’ look cab forward design sports car. Positioning, power, and price will be between 296 and SF90.
Base price of SF90M coupe will be approximate base price of regular SF90 spider. Base price of SF90M spider will be approximately $590k.
Interesting I’d thought they’d do a BEV Purosangue first but a BEV super car between the 296 and SF90 sounds interesting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What means SF90M? A facelift or new model? What should be the difference to the SF90 or SF90xx? Can´t find any infos...
SF90M is the SF90 replacement it will not be an all new model but an upgrade like 458/488 and I think it will be called 499 GTB.
296 VS or something else entirely? https://www.instagram.com/p/C69P8_Ciroi/?igsh=cDY1NmZyYTN3OXY1 Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The body is a 488 with SF90 headlights and odd intakes in the hood and on the side. Would be interesting to see what this ends up being. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
$100 says the EV model will be best looking car that we wanted, with the least desirable power plant.
I agree with this logic. The BEV is most likely explanation. Also … when have you ever seen the electricity warning labels SO prominent ?
You have to give Ferrari credit … in these pivotal new categories … they absolutely LOAD the first one… in order to make SURE their customers adopt them: 1. First Hybrid … SF90. Can’t resist feature is more power and faster than Laferrari for 1/3 the price. 2. First SUV … Purosangue naturally aspirated V12, basically a 4 door 812. Irresistible. 3. First BEV … cab forward, 1,000 hp, killer design, somehow sounds great. Under $495k You go from ‘Over my dead body do I want one of those in my garage’ now to ‘Hello Mr. Dealer can I place a deposit on the new electric Ferrari?’ That’s what they do.
I’m curious to see how they’re gonna make a BEV desirable at that price point and what kind of design/tech freedom a BEV can have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think it will be anything BUT anticlimactic. It will hit 0-60 in 2.2 seconds thanks to super high torque
IMO 0-60 will be 1.9 and quarter mile in 8.9 Acceleration is an EV's best hand vs ICE So, they better come to the table with a good advantage over ICE
I would push back on this theory for one reason … positioning. At 1.9 seconds the BEV Ferrari 1000 ( my placeholder name ) would be faster than SF90M. I believe the SF90M will be 1.9 to 1.95 and the BEV Ferrari 1000 will be 2.2 as it will likely be positioned between SF90M and 296.
And this is exactly what EVs do. Reduce the entire discussion of the car to one or two straight line metrics. There’s no character.
