Here are my Issues with diffusers and wings, etc. on this road cars. They are aero, meant to improve downforce. When you suck in air, occasionally it brings with it, things. Those things can damage the parts. On race cars, they’re cheap and made to be replaced. On these road super cars, they upsell up and we spec them carbon, which defeats the purpose of a race car from a utility standpoint.
thank you! "but rear bonet fully closed" ... like on the 812Comp you mean? At the current pics it doesn´t look like this: But who knows. I think it whould be cool to get a closed rear bonnet + aero fins on it.
"Same rims as F80" ... hopefully there will be also other ones to choose, instead of the F80 / Taycan style rims
Received this last month - said to be close. Who knows until we see track times but I wouldn't bet against Ferrari's intent - F80 XX VS these are different times vs the past. Deleted the pic - don't want to get in trouble View attachment 3792956
valhalla has 200 more hp but so does the temerario. 296 has almost 300 on the gt3 rs yet rs is faster around the ring--- soooooo valhalla fanboys take note. we dont have weight on the valhalla but it wont be light. the SV could be just as quick as the valhalla. we'll see.
Rear bonett is very similar to 812 Compe, just flat, not copying the silouethe of the car. there are also much bigger air intakes round the front lights, as an output of that air is constructed the big carbon hole in the back part of front bonnet. Is not same duct like on Pista, but fuctionality will be the same. the back side spoiler are similar like on FXX Enzo model. inside of course carbon door panels as Maximus wrote, Piloti version deducted for Racing drivers, part of racing activity and Hyperclub members
Aesthetically I’d prefer FXXK rear wings to FXX wings in general the FXXK is one of my favorite looking hypercars of all time.
599GTO - a few had winglets XX components. Post pic as it's not as close as once thought - some who have seen it said it was pretty accurate. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ha! NOW you’re flippin talking! Check out CocoLoco with great post! This rendering has literally EVERYTHING I said that it needed! Please Lord, let most of this see the light of day on the production version!
Wow! This is the best post on this thread yet! Super helpful information. If this is the case, that means the current mules are sand bagging the more compelling modifications!
Just someone take on what's beneath. Road version of Challenge car - is going to be forever special. Agree on carbon and painted shields is nuts - flip side upon delivery - happy vs %*$#
In Monterey 2019 - went to SF90 Valhalla Lotus hyper car debuts. Jim G was presenting his off road buggy - crazy to think back at what we were willing to do for a car allocation - yet people say Ferrari is tough.
Got told yersterday it would have to little back wings like the FXX-K and a bigger fornt intake on the hood. BUT ! No info about a limited production .. GTS only for Ferrari clients .. GTB also for non-clients.
Interesting if true about GTB VS for non-established clients and only established clients can get GTS VS. It’s not a bad way for them to thread the needle if that’s the case. There is no info about limited production because the production run will be roughly limited only by how many they can make over two years. So it’s production run time limited as opposed to finite number limited. Meaning this… they will end up making around 3,000 GTB and around 2,000 GTS give or take a few hundred either way.
Dealer will choose clients for Coupe (with and without 296 history), Factory will aprove qualificants for 296 VS spider (not limited) Piloti version strictly chooses the factory, Hyperclub members and Corse Clienti
I was told having (owned) a 296 was mandatory to be allowed to purchase the VS. Could be by dealer just trying to usell me, but I've yet to have them try that tactic on me...
Funny as in my market I could easy get a Valhalla allocation. I was actually invited to the Paris exclusive reveal just mentioning my name through a friend at the dealer.... So no major hoops to jump through. Glad I passed.
