296GTB Still Waiting

Put my deposit in March '22, have been told delivery likely will be early 2025. My patience is certainly being tested! Picked up a DB12 to ease the suffering in he meantime

 

Looks like David Lee just got his. Meanwhile, he's starting to look more and more like Randal Park!

 

That is his GTS. His yellow AF GTB came nearly a year ago.

 

Not impressed with David. I am sure that many are. To each his own.

 

Where do these codes show up? In the app or do I have to ask my dealer what status I am at?

Got the call from GM car went into production and have a Vin as well.

Not very familiar with Ferrari, with Porsche once you get this call you’re about 3 months away from taking deliver. (In socal atleast).

 

Right now 6 to 9 months, really. I got a VIN last fall and at 6 months it's in post production pending shipment, which can easily take another 90 days. I was talking to some owners this week whose 296s sat in port (NJ) for up to 3 months before being sent over to their dealers.

 

What did this user do to get banned?

Mine was at 10R mid December last year and at 90 8 weeks ago. Told by dealer to expect end of May delivery. Mine will also go through NJ port. It's a 296 GTS

 

I am 30 months from order, and the dealer confers production will start this month, yet my app says "waiting list." When does the VIN show up ?

Does this mean they might be building you two cars as a reward for your patience - or maybe its all one big April Fool !!

 

I never saw my VIN on the app pre delivery. At least I don't recall seeing it.

 

VIN shows up as soon as ur car goes from 10G to 10R.

Dealer just informed me mine went to “no changes” which I thought was 10R but he said “00.” Thoughts?

 

Where does the 10G and 10R show up. Is that in the status bar on the APP?

 

That is not in the app, your dealer gets those notifications

 

The 10th character in my VIN is an R so what does that mean? Just received the VIN on the app. No other pics yet. Does a June delivery date sound reasonable? Cheers.
