    hey everyone, this is being posted with rob's permission, so bear with me, :)
    i'm helping to host a trivia night on October 24th for the Eagle Scout Association of St. Louis, and would like to invite everyone here to join in. we are seeking donations, as well as tables of participants. space is limited to 40 tables of 8 players per table, there will be prizes for the top finishers as well as raffle prizes. if you would like to make a donation for one of our raffle prizes, or would be interested in playing, please contact me and i'll get you some more information.

    Scott, you're an Eagle Scout? What was your service project?

    I'll be out of town on the 24th so I can't attend. Best of luck with the event. Nothing like a trivia nite to reinforce one's ignorance :)

    EDIT - the date is OCTOBER 4TH, not the 24th, typo on my part. a little more info - round sponsors are also being sought, $100 per round, and tables of 8 for $120 are being accepted right now, as well as raffle prizes.

    i.e. $15 per person? Are there enough StL Fchatters around to fill a table? That might be fun.

    lol, too bad they tore it down a couple of years after the fact, oh well. yeah, 15 per person, snacks provided, byob (i fought for free beer, figures i turn 21 and now have to actually buy my own, :)) we may be able to squeeze people into another table should you want to participate but don't have enough for a full table. it'd be awesome if there's enough f-chatters to fill a table.
