Well, I'm sure you're itching to point out that your company doesn't charge a seller fee But for the sake of discussion, as I'm sure you know, it depends entirely on what sort of deal they struck with the auction co. So, in the case of the F40, it could be anywhere from $1.62 (assuming standard 10% seller fee) to >$1,800,000, as it's not unheard of for auction companies to completely waive seller fees and even cut the seller in on the buyer's juice. Word is that Broad Arrow was very aggressive in securing consignments, no doubt partly motivated by their impending sale to Hagerty.
No I wasn't wanting to weigh in on the different seller's fees that different entities use, I was just trying to establish that F40 84089's current bid was indeed not as high as the $1,960,000 bid that it achieved 3 months ago on May 19th on BAT.
As it turns out and some said in the comments, This was the bargain of the moment. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
This is chassis #92396, for those wondering. EDIT: Just saw tt's 2nd post with the ch# already, whoops. To give my post a reason to exist, here's a photo I took of this car when GT had it on display in Seaside, CA the other day.
