    Anybody have a set of Verell's 2 valve cam locks that they are willing to let me borrow? Looks like I need to get the cam belts done while waiting for the car to sell.

    I used a hockey puck cut in half then reverse (looks like hour glass)and drill a hole through and use a long wing nut. Place it in between the sprocket pulleys. Works very well.

    yes plenty of DIY/make you own tools out there from the hockey puck to wood to that white plastic they make cutting boards out of. Do a google image search for 308 cam lock tool and you'll get plenty of ideas. You don't need to have any special tools to make the lock either, can probably get by with a hand held drill and hand held jig saw.
