Hello everybody! I'm new here, and a little green so take it easy on me! LOL!

I know this is a terribly rare item, but has anybody ever seen a 3.0 v12 for sale and about what would a rebuildable engine cost? I know the occasion that a great v12 would be seperated from it's car would be unusual, but I can't really find any information whatsoever on how I might aquire a 3.0 v12. Thanks a lot!

If anyone had one of these, it would be Tom Shaughnessy. You are right, this is a rare item. Given that the cheapest car that carried this engine regularly sells for over $80K, I would think the engine would be a minimum $40K. The 3 liter 250 series engines are probably the most historically significant Ferrari engines ever!

Subscribing to the Ferrari Market Letter is a good way to start. $65 for 6 months. You could do worse.
